Last meeting report: Workshop: 'Still Life Drawing & Painting' with club members

Today was a day to experiment with drawing and mixed media in our studies of still life. We had a variety of subjects, old pots and pans, vases of flowers from the Autumn gardens of members, teddy bears, “objets d’art” and squashes from the kitchen garden. It was hard to choose as everything was inviting. We chatted and laughed together in our informal group with great work produced. Thank you to everyone who brought items in for us to study.

Members who joined after 1 July 2026 do not need to renew as their membership is carried forward.

Workshop: 'Christmas Willow' with Cassandra Lishman

Cassandra makes a welcome return, after a very successful and enjoyable workshop earlier in the year. In this workshop we will be using multi-coloured fresh willow to make wreaths, mini-reindeer and Christmas Tree platters. All materials will be provided.
