The Other End of the Beach (Poppit Sands) - £895

Poppit Sands is constantly shifting and evolving in direct response to its environment. Most visitors stay at one end of the beach, close to facilities, but for those prepared to venture a little further and turn the corner along the Teifi Estuary, a treat awaits. A little wilder, and even more beautiful to me, this end of the beach is favoured by dog walkers and locals in the know.

Surprising Sunlight on the Sandbar - £275

As I walked along the beautiful, empty Magheroarty Beach, County Donegal, Ireland, with the ominous storm clouds closing in, a bright ray of sunshine burst through the grey and hit the white sand of the distant sandbar, creating an unexpected and dramatic glow, which passed as quickly as it arrived.

One Magical Evening in Newport is a powerful representation of the dramatic colours often seen in the skies of North Pembrokeshire at dusk. This painting, with its multiple layers of glazes in acrylics and inks, highlights the depth of the reflections as the setting sun hits the calm estuary waters. The view is from the Iron Bridge, walking along the river towards the beach, where we are sometimes treated to these almost biblical visions.
